The Woodstock Rotary Festival of Music

The Woodstock Rotary Festival of Music is pleased to give music students the chance to perform in a friendly atmosphere, to receive positive feedback about their work, and to gain more experience performing in concert situations.

As well, we offer $8 000 in scholarships which are awarded annually by the adjudicators. They are given to the students who, in the opinion of the adjudicators, show the most promise musically and are given to help defray the cost of their music studies.

This past year, we sent several students to the provincial competitions which were held at the University of Western Ontario in June. Our congratulations go to Adam Fyn who was the provincial winner for Grade 8 Brass section and to Kent Boniface and Kylie Poole who both received honourable mention in Grade 9 piano.
